Semsi Yozgat, President

Mr. Yozgat is the charismatic president, founder, and owner of Marmara Corporation. He has 30 years experience in stone fabrication and installation in Turkey and the United States. In addition, Mr. Yozgat is privileged to be part of the 4th generation in his family's natural stone  business. Formerly employed with the Lascaris Design Group in Washington, D.C., Mr. Yozgat founded Marmara Corporation in 1985 and has built a strong clientèle of residential home builders/renovators, and a lengthy list of successfully completed commercial projects.

Frederick Hammond, Senior Estimator, Project Manager

Mr. Hammond is Marmara Corporation's senior estimator and project manager. He is Marmara Corporation's newest team member, and brings with him 15 years experience in commercial and residential construction. Mr. Hammond specializes in managing all types of projects, including those with multi-million dollar budgets, serving as senior manager, director of construction, and operations manager, to name a few. Mr. Hammond's rich resume is backed by his extensive education and certification, as he holds a BSCE in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland, and served 6 years in the US Army as a surveyor/engineer.

Hossam Barakat, HR/Accounting Manager

Mr. Barakat has been with Marmara Corporation since December 2005. As the accounting manager, he brings 5 years of  experience in accounting, practicing since 2003. Mr. Barakat holds a B.S. in accounting from Alexandria University, Egypt. Mr. Barakat also performs administrative duties for the company, including purchasing & human resources. Currently, Mr. Barakat is enrolled in the Masters Degree program in accounting at the University of Maryland.

Gokhan Ozbek, Superintendent

Mr. Ozbek is Marmara Corporation's lead superintendent. He has 20 years experience in the natural stone industry, and has been with Marmara Corporation for 6 years. Mr. Ozbek oversees commercial construction sites, coordinates installations and manages all field personnel.

Nalan Mutlu, Architect/Project Manager

Ms. Mutlu is Marmara Corporation's lead commercial project manager. She brings fifteen years experience in stone fabrication and installation on small and large residential/commercial projects. Ms. Mutlu also possesses a degree in architecture from the Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon, Turkey.

Priscila Basso, Lead Estimator

Ms. Basso has been with Marmara Corporation since 2005. She has 5 years of experience in estimating and construction management. Ms. Basso holds a Masters degree in architecture. In addition, she is Marmara Corporation's architect and lead estimator.

Berk Olcay, Shop Manager

Mr. Olcay is Marmara Corporation's lead shop manager. He has been with Marmara Corporation since 2009. Mr. Olcay is in charge of all related shop tasks, including scheduling, quality control, fabrication coordination, risk assessment, and customer satisfaction.. Mr. Olcay holds a degree in Forestry Engineering .

Vania Finwall, Assistant Shop Manager/Receptionist

Ms. Finwall has been with Marmara Corporation since June 2005, and is currently also our residential division manager. She maintains installation and fabrication schedules, keeps track of all residential sales, and provides customer service help. Ms. Finwall is Marmara Corporation's main receptionist.

Eduardo Novaes, Residential Sales Representative

Mr. Novaes is Marmara Corporation's top residential sales consultant. He has been with Marmara Corporation for 11 years, and has unrivaled experience handling stone drafting, estimating, and natural stone retail sales.

Samuel Sams-Yeboah, Outside Sales Representative

Mr. Yeboah is Marmara Corporation's outside sales rep. He has 4 years experience in natural stone product sales. Mr. Sams-Yeboah is a graduate from London University, Middlesex, England.

Junayd Park, IS/IT/LAN Internal Systems Administrator, Webmaster, Internet Sales, HR Assistant

Mr. Park is Marmara Corporation's internal systems IT administrator. He has been with Marmara Corporation since 2007. He brings 21 years combined experience in the IT field to Marmara Corporation, including 10 plus years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT research and development/deployment, 8 years experience in LAN administration/IS security, 5 years of web development via Volusion, in addition to 5 years of human resources management. Mr. Park successfully revitalized a stagnant company in the computer industry during his 7 year stint with Stallion Technology in Maryland. He brought his talents to the natural stone industry for Marmara Corporation, developing, maintaining and running a successful online arm for internet sales.
